So we were now at the end of October (ok ok I'm just a few months behind) and it's time to start really renovating the bedroom. All the bedroom furniture was now all over the house. Our closet stuff was hanging just about everywhere you could think of and we were sleeping in one of the spare rooms. The goal was to be back in the master bedroom before Christmas.
Here are the before pictures.
The well-used blue carpet. Yucky!
The mirrored doors. Not really my thing.
The piece of drywall tape on the ceiling that you could see every time you were lying in bed.
And the last remaining bit from the sliding bedroom door removal (see Part 1).
And then it was gone...
But we weren't done yet with that carpet. We had to cut it up into tiny rolls that would fit into a billion township garbage bags. No more loose items allowed at the landfill. And we thought that garbage would be easier here than back in Garbage-complicated Guelph.
Stay tuned for Part 3: The closet doors - Louver or not to louver?
